About the festival

Each year in October Korzo celebrates the rich Indian dance and culture at the India Dance Festival. Ranging from Kathak to urban and from Bharatanatyam to contemporary dance, Korzo is the platform for established and emerging talents. In the intimate setting of the Korzo theatre shows inspiring performances of renowned international artists as well as refreshing in-house productions. It is also a meeting place for the local dance community where they can do workshops and showcase their talent. 

Because of its unique signature and the growing interest of artists, audience and press the festival has become of the most important European manifestations for Indian dance. Korzo shows that non-western classical dance also has local relevance and brings attention to dancers with a modern day perspective to the art form. The festival is accessible to a broad audience. They can enjoy outstanding performances, lectures, films and workshops.
